In Fall 2024, Rho Mu members attended the MAR Undergraduate Leadership Institute in Raleigh, NC where we were grateful to have met and spent time with the Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Regional Director of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Nadine Vargas Stewart.
A Note on our 25th Anniversary Celebrations
Throughout 2020, in addition to pursuing the organization's core targets and programming, we are celebrating Rho Mu's 25th anniversary! Our main initiative, which began after our 25th Charter Day was called "25 Days of Rho Mu" and took place on our Instagram.
We posted pictures and videos of the women of our Rho Mu sisterhood who sought to build and preserve the legacy of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. at the University of Richmond for the past 25 years.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, Rho Mu will not be hosting any in-person gatherings in 2020, but we are looking forward to opportunities in 2021.
